...and all over the front of the RV. It's love bug season and they mate in the air and don't care where they fly. So they hit two at a time. We took out several thousand of them. There were so many on the windshield it created night out of day. We had to stop twice to get enough of them off the windshield so we could see.
BTW, if you hadn't guessed, we were in Houston yesterday. We lost an hour of travel time because they closed Interstate 10 and it took that long to get off and back on further down the road. Then there was a bad accident about half way to Schertz, so another delay and detour.
We made it to Schertz about 4 PM. We parked in the Wal-Mart parking lot so we could scope out which of the 2 roads into the development would be better for us to get to Marjorie's house. Marjorie and Mom were on their way back from Austin seeing Rob, so we waiting a little bit for them. Went out to dinner, then got the RV, fueled up and parked it at the house. Spent a 1/2 hour or more cleaning the bugs off the front of the RV, and now watched a video of my surprise 50th birthday party at Rich and Joanne's home in York, PA. Ronni was only 16 at the time, but everyone came except Stacey. She was at school in Massachusetts. What fun that weekend was!
