We finally got on the road yesterday at 2:50 PM and arrived at Bev and John's at 6:10 PM. John has a beautiful home on 285 acres of land, 43 head of cattle, 5 dogs and 3 horses. Bev made lasagna for us for dinner and we caught up on things. No phone service here or Internet.
Today we had breakfast then took 2 of the horses 39 miles away to an Amish ferrier and had them reshod. He worked for 1-1/2 hours and only charged $45. Then we came back, had lunch and chillaxed. John took me in a cart tour of his property, then everyone but yours truly took a nap.
I set up my drone and when everyone woke up, we flew the drone around their property. We flew at 200 feet and we're 3700 feet away while videoing the property.
We are having BBQ'd t-bone steaks for dinner and then will be getting ready to leave tomorrow for our return trip to NJ.
